How do i get a better voice?

i don't mean my singing voice, which is too bad to be fixed, but when i talk i talk really fast, and i slur my words together, and i mumble. i also have a weird pitched voice, but that doesn't really matter to me. are there any exercises other than reading a paragraph out loud?
