Do the words "Decorative" and "Homely" have similar meanings?

There was a test today and there was a question asking me wich 2 pair of words had SIMILAR meanings. Choices A and C dint make sense and i crossed them out. Choice B had the words Decorative, and Homely(or Homey? Its referring to something very home-like i guess.) And Choice D had the words Financial and Fancy. They both looked like they were right but i went with choice D. I can still change the answers 2marroe so can anyone help me out here? Also, im not trying to be "cheaty" here. Im asking this so i can learn from it since our teacher just checks it without telling us wether its right or wrong. Please, and Thank you (:
