My husband has a beer belly?

He is only 26, he always had a beautiful body I loved his body, so muscly and hard but now its all flabby and loose, he never goes to the gym anymore all he does is come home from work, eat and watch ESPN sports etc, am I being to harsh on him, he's not like a fatty but he's just not as hot, he's more homely.
