I need some help with my parents?

Hello, I have a similar situation but its reversed my mom yells and my dad goes out and iqnores me. I eventually relized that I can't do anything about what they do. All I can do is try to tell them when there hurting me by doing something and if they still iqnore it well I've done my part it's time for them to take responsibility and do there's and even if they don't I know in the end I was more mature then them and did the right thing. The issue with your mom if you told her you felt like she's abandoning you and she didn't talk it out with you. Shes probably in alot of pain enough to ignore her own daughter.( which is terrible) I think she might be one of those people who has to depend on someone all the time or become lost and depressed that my be why she was obsessing over her boyfriend. It could also be that she and her boyfriend were planing to have a night alone if you know what I mean and lied to you about dropping him off at his house.
