How can I make my space feel more homely?

I have an attic upstairs it's only small 1 by 3 metres but it fits me in snugly withe some space to spare it has had plaster board put on the side Walls and wood boarding on the floor to make it safe but I want to make it into like a miny music studio any ideas of haw to get started
